If you live in Canada and spend $200 CAD/month on groceries and gas, you can use your ordinary shopping to support CryPeace. My friend Roy Weber started the innovative Charity Services organisation as a way to turn everyday purchases into donations for charities. CryPeace will receive a percentage of your purchases as an annual donation at the end of each year.
What I do is subscribe to cover my monthly grocery bills, then periodically request extra gift cards for the stores I visit occasionally. You can make changes to your subscription from the 1st - 15th of each month to receive the gift cards the following month.
To subscribe, simply select your favourite stores and monthly amounts, then submit your online or mail order directly to Charity Services for secure processing. You will receive gift cards every month until you change or cancel your order. Remember to designate CryPeace as your preferred charity to direct your donations to us.
Note: CryPeace is too small to afford the overhead of a registered charity yet, so unfortunately we cannot offer tax receipts.
